Yesterday I went to my first dance! :D The "School Spirit" dance! And it was SO much better than I expected! It was totally pitch black, except for all the colorful "disco lights" (I guess you could call them) shooting everywhere!
There was a DJ that played the most popular dance songs! Like, "Cupid Shuffle" by Cupid, (All of the kids from my elementary knew the dance to that song, so everyone joined in to the song and had a blast teaching everyone!) "Macarena" by Los Del Rio, (which was also really fun to dance to!) "Super Bass" by Nicki Minaj, "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz, "Break Your Heart" by Taio Cruz, "The Only Exception" by Paramore, and SO MUCH MORE!!!
The speakers were blasted so loud that you had to yell as loud as you could to get the person right next to you to barely hear you! Everyone was screaming and singing so loud to the music, that their throats were sore! (Including mine! I found out that I'm the biggest partier of my group of friends!) The dancing was super awesome too! ... If you count "jumping up and down with your fist in the air until you tired" dancing... Haha! :)
And near the end of the dance, we all made a huge circle for anyone who wanted to go in the middle and show off their dance moves! And then we did a conga line! YAY CONGA!
I am DEFINITELY going to the next dance! (Which is actually next month! Hooray!) ;D
So if I wasn't clear on this: I HAD AN EPIC TIME AT THE DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!
